A method and a device for testing software are provided to modify the software fit to perform a software test based on user input information by requesting information for a function to be tested from a user. A display part(70) displays an image and an interface screen generator(50) generates a screen to be displayed to the display part. A storing part(40) stores the functions to be tested having token information. A user selection part(10) selects a test mode for starting the software test. A controller(30) enables the interface screen generator to generate an information selection screen requesting the information for the token information if the test mode is selected, and generates test information based on the information received through the information selection screen.
