A reactor that can be manufactured comparatively easily and can reduce a thermal stress generated in the case where a reaction part set to a predetermined temperature is installed inside the reactor is provided. A reactor(12) causing reaction of a reactant comprises: a reactor main body part(2) including a plurality of substrates consisting of a pair of a top substrate(3) and a bottom substrate(7) having recessed portions provided therein to form sealed regions and a plurality of intermediate substrates(4-6) having at least openings(40,41,50,51,60,61) that are provided therein and communicate with each other, and a reaction part at which the plurality of intermediate substrates are formed to be laid-up and bonded to each other and a reaction channel through which the reactant flows is formed to cause reaction of the reactant; and an envelopment part(16) which receives the reactor main body part therein except one end side thereof through a sealed space(9) formed by inserting the plurality of laid-up intermediate substrates between the top substrate and the bottom substrate to be laid-up and bonded to each other and by communicating the openings and the sealed regions on the plurality of substrates, and which include a supporting part(17) for supporting the reactor main body part through the one end side of the reactor main body part. |
