A resolver is provided to compute an output value with low distortion by symmetrically passing a winding region formed at a rotor and a stator through a slot that is not wound with a lead wire. In a resolver(10), a rotor(30) is connected to a rotating object to rotate together with the object and composed of plural iron cores and plural slots arranged at the outer periphery. A stator(40) surrounds the rotor and has plural iron cores and plural slots formed at the inner periphery. A rotor winding region has at least one rotor winding unit formed by successively passing a lead wire through one slot of the rotor and the slots symmetrical to one slot, penetrating the lead wire through both slots of the other slot symmetrical to one slot for the center of the rotor, and then winding the lead wire around the iron core of the rotor. A stator winding region has at least one stator winding unit formed by passing the lead wire through one slot of the stator and the slots symmetrical to one slot in order, penetrating the lead wire through both slots of the other slot symmetrical to one slot for the center of the stator, and then winding the lead wire around the iron core of the stator. |
