Provided is a grid alloy for a lead storage battery having effects in an improvement of initial strength, a refinement of alloy structure, an adhesion reinforcement of active materials and an inhibition of grid growth deformation by grid corrosion. The grid alloy for a lead storage battery is formed of an alloy of lead(Pb) with calcium(Ca) having a relative concentration of 0.05 wt% to 0.07 wt%, tin(Sn) having a relative concentration of 1.0 wt% to 1.3 wt%, strontium(Sr) having a relative concentration of 0.01 wt% to 0.04 wt%, Barium(Ba) having a relative concentration of 0.005 wt% to 0.01 wt% and aluminium(Al) having a relative concentration of 0.007 wt% to 0.009 wt%. Further, the grid alloy comprises 0.007 wt% to 0.01 wt% of silver added to the alloy. |
