An infrared ray intercepting transfer film for a transparent plate body and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure an excellent insulation effect and an infrared/UV(Ultraviolet) ray intercepting effect and to improve workability in transferring the transfer film on the transparent plate body. An infrared ray intercepting transfer film for a transparent plate body is composed of a base film layer(1) provided with the function of a base layer of a transfer paper and made of glossy or dull PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate); an aluminum deposited layer(2) made of aluminum materials and deposited on the base film layer to separate an UV hard coating layer(3) and the base film layer in transferring the transfer film on an object; the UV hard coating layer formed on the aluminum deposited layer, provided with a scratch resistance function, and made of urethane monomer and propyleneglycol monomethyl ester; an infrared ray intercepting layer(4) formed on the UV hard coating layer to secure infrared ray interception and heat insulation functions and made of antimony tin oxide, propylene glycol, and urethane monomer; and an adhesive layer(5) formed on the infrared ray intercepting layer to secure a UV cut-off and absorption function and an adhesion function and made of acryl resin, an UV absorbent, methylethyl ketone, toluene, and xylene.
