A method for manufacturing an O-ring by injection molding is provided to manufacture O-rings at low cost by forming the O-ring using an injection molding material. A method for manufacturing an O-ring by injection molding includes the steps of: selecting thermoplastic poly urethane as an injection molding material; removing moisture from the injection molding material; bring an upper mold(10) and a lower mold(20) at the center on the inner surface of the O-ring to form a fitting line(2); forming side molds(30) occupying a central portion between the upper and lower molds on the outer surface of the O-ring and forming the fitting lines contacting the upper and lower molds respectively; and forming a pouring passage through which a resin solution is introduced into the mold at an upper or lower portion of the O-ring.
