A vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce pressure loss and noise generated when air passes through a discharge filter by installing the discharge filter having a large size. A vacuum cleaner includes a body(10), a dust collecting unit(20), a blowing fan unit, a discharge passage(16), a discharge filter(18), and a discharge filter exchange unit(50). The dust collecting unit is detachably installed in the body. The blowing fan unit includes a blowing fan and a motor so as to generate a suction force to the dust collecting unit. The air discharged from the blowing fan unit is guided by the discharge passage. The discharge filter is installed in the discharge passage to filter the dust in the air discharged from the blowing fan unit. The discharge filter exchange unit is provided in a mounting section at which the dust collecting unit is mounted to attach and detach the discharge filter.
