An array substrate and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having the array substrate are provided to prevent uneven display caused by different quantities of charges of pixels vertically adjacent to each other by making the quantities of charges of the pixels equal to each other. An array substrate includes a first pixel part(112) and a second pixel part(114). The first pixel part includes a plurality of effective pixels arranged in a display region and a plurality of dummy pixels arranged in a peripheral region. The second pixel part is located in proximity to the first pixel part and includes a plurality of effective pixels arranged in the display region and a plurality of dummy pixels arranged in the peripheral region surrounding the display region.
