NOVEL METAL(III)-CHROMIUM-PHOSPHATE COMPLEX AND USE THEREOF

Provided is a novel metal(III)-chromium-phosphate(MCP) complex having superior proton conductivity in a broad temperature range and even under humidity-free conditions. The novel metal(III)-chromium-phosphate(MCP) complex is expressed in chemical formula of M(III)xCr(HPO4)y(H2PO4)z, wherein M belongs to IIIA and/or IIIB group metals, x=3n(n=1 or 2), y=3n'(n'=0, 1, or 2), and z=3n''(n''=0,1, or 2). At least one of n' and n'' is not 0. The organic/inorganic complex electrolyte film comprises an organic polymer; and a metal(III)-chromium-phosphate(MCP) complex with the formula described earlier. A preferred example of the metal M contained in the metal(III)-chromium-phosphate(MCP) complex is aluminum.
