MULTI-CHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER WITH TRANSVERSE BY-PASS

A multi-channel heat exchanger having transverse by-passes is provided to improve heat exchange performance by minimizing nonuniform flux by forming the by-passes on one end of each fluid passage. A multi-channel heat exchanger(10) having transverse by-passes includes a plurality of first fluid passages(30), a plurality of second fluid passages(40), a plurality of first transverse by-passes(31), a plurality of second transverse by-passes(41), and a plurality of plates(20). The plurality of first fluid passages are formed lengthwise of the multi-channel heat exchanger. The second fluid passages are formed between the first fluid passages. The first transverse by-passes are formed on one end of each first fluid passage. The second transverse by-passes are formed on one end of each second fluid passage. The plates are laminated lengthwise of the multi-channel heat exchanger.
