The guide is connected to an end of a cylindrical tubular wall inside which a piston slides. A ring having reduced frictional coefficient is interposed in an orifice through which the piston rod slides. The ring is made from injected plastic having a low frictional coefficient while the guide body is molded such that the ring and guide body are inseparable. An independent claim is included for a manufacturing method of a piston rod guide.
