The method is used for real time automatic registration of three-dimensional laser scans through phototargets. The names of the referent points are printed as a barcode and as a sequence of numerals and letters on paper sheets (17), which are placed next to the selected referent points. Several photospheres (13) are attached to the selected referent points, the scanner (15) being placed in the desired position so that at least four or five of the photospheres (13) are within the sweep thereof, since when scanning the scanner (15) should receive information from several photospheres (13), during the installation of which in a referent point before scanning, the name of the point where the photosphere (13) is placed is introduced through a barcode reader (10), a keyboard or other information introducing device. The point name becomes name of the photosphere (12). When irradiating the photosphere (13), the radio channel (14) sends to the scanner (15) a code corresponding to the name of the photosphere (12), such code representing the coordinates of the referent point where the photosphere (13) is attached, the detection, selection and names of the photospheres (12) being known already when scanning. The scans registration is done automatically in real time, i.e. at the moment of scanning, and after that the set of photospheres (13) is shifted to new referent points, a new scanning position is selected, and the operation is repeated until covering the whole area to be scanned. |
