An apparatus for supplying plural DNS(Domain Name System) server addresses by using a PPP(Point-to-Point Protocol) and a method therefor are provided to service IPv6(Internet Protocol version 6) addresses of more than 2 DNS servers to one IPv6CP(Control Protocol) option, thereby reducing the number of times a control message is transceived. A PPP server(120) includes IPv6 addresses of plural DNS servers(140) in one IPv6CP option, and transmits the IPv6 addresses. Communication terminals(110) receive the plural IPv6 addresses sent from the PPP server(120). The PPP server(120) includes the IPv6 addresses of the DNS servers(140) in the IPv6CP option used for an NCP(Network Control Protocol) process of PPP connection processes, and sends the addresses.
