Provided is a method for preparing a nano-size zinc silicate green phosphor, wherein the prepared green phosphor has a uniform particle size distribution, is capable of mass production, and has excellent luminescence intensity by vacuum ultraviolet rays. The method for preparing a nano-size zinc silicate green phosphor represented by a formula 1 of Zn_(2-x)SiO4:Mn_x comprises the steps of: (a) mixing ZnO, SiO2, and MnCO3 powders, and heat-treating and grinding the mixture to prepare micro-size precursor powder; and (b) injecting the prepared micro-size precursor powder into RF plasma and reacting the powder to prepare a nano-size zinc silicate green phosphor. In the formula 1, x is 0.001-0.2.
