Provided is a method for preparing photochromic dyes-polymer microparticles encapsulated with an inorganic matter, wherein the microparticles improve photochromic performances, are stable against ultraviolet rays and free radicals, and have an excellent oxygen barrier property. The method for preparing photochromic dyes-polymer microparticles encapsulated with an inorganic matter comprises the steps of: (a) mixing monomers, silica nanoparticles, comonomers having an affinity with the silica nanoparticles, and a photochromic dye to prepare a Pickering mini-emulsion; (b) polymerizing the Pickering mini-emulsion to prepare photochromic dyes-polymer microparticles which have photochromic dyes contained in polymer and are stabilized with silica; and (c) forming an inorganic matter layer on the surface of the photochromic dyes-polymer microparticle. |
