A method for transceiving data between users in an image forming device is provided to improve convenience by enabling the user having no write authority to send the data to a receiver even if the receiver is in a logout state, and strengthen security by processing the data waiting for reception according to selection of the receiver. The data is registered to a reception waiting data list if the user has no write authority and the receiver is in the logout state(S450). When the receiver is logged in, the reception waiting data list is displayed. The receiver confirms or prints the data displayed in the reception waiting data list. If the receiver refuses reception of the data, a reception refusal message is transmitted to the user and the data is removed from the reception waiting data list. If the receiver is in a login state, the data is transmitted to the receiver(S420). If the user has the write authority, the data is stored to a data storage space of the receiver(S440).
