<p>The foldable crate with a dripping function is for drying dishes for use on camp sites, boats and similar and ultimately for transport and storage. It has a rectangular floor part with holes (A) for feeding water away from the dishes. Also the crate has two rows of pins (B) where plates, dishes and similar can be set prior to being manually dried with a tea towel or allowed to be air-dried after draining. These rows are hinge-connected to the upright edge of the floor part. The rows of pins when outwardly folded fall against a small projecting edge (C). The crate also has a rack (D) which with a hinged sysem can be outwardly folded to accommodate cutlery (spoons, knives, forks) after drainage, for subsequent manual drying with a tea towel or to be air-dried. Also, small objects such as beakers and cups can be placed on the outwardly folded rack for drainage and drying. The pin rows and the rack can be inwardly folded, so that the crate can be used for storage and transport.</p> |
