The device for fermenting bread dough in a fermentation chamber, comprises a molded plastic vat (1), and a molded plastic lid (2) for protecting and stacking of the vats. The lid is reversible at the top of four notches (5) for stacking of the vats. The lid is present on a lower face of four pins (3) and two nipples (4) of minimum length for the air passage on the vat sides. The pins and the nipples are laid out with the lid angles, and have thickness of 3 mm. The lid is turned over for storage, and the pins and the nipples allow storage by stacking of the vats.
