<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink that exhibits excellent dispersion stability and good de-capping resistance, and an inkjet recording method using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet ink comprises at least a pigment, an organic solvent and water, where the content of water in the ink is at least 10 mass% and less than 50 mass% of the whole mass of the ink; at least one organic solvent is a water-soluble organic solvent having an SP value ((MPa)<SP>1/2</SP>) of at least 16.5 and less than 24.6; the content of the water-soluble organic solvent having the SP value ((MPa)<SP>1/2</SP>) of at least 16.5 and less than 24.6 is at least 30 mass% of the whole mass of the ink; and the ink has a viscosity at a shear rate of 1 sec<SP>-1</SP>0.5-3 mPa s higher than the viscosity at a shear rate of 1,000 sec<SP>-1</SP>at 20°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
