PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which the display quality is not deteriorated by sudden changes in display brightness depending on its positions, and of which production efficiency is not reduced by frequent occurrence of misdetection at the time of inspection in manufacturing process of members. SOLUTION: In the rear surface plate 16 having a plurality of address electrodes 3 on a substrate, a dielectric layer 14 covering the address electrodes 3, and a plurality of barrier ribs 1 existing on the dielectric layer 14 and at least between the address electrodes 3 and demarcating at least a discharge space for every unit, the maximum electrode width 8 in a cell 6 of different two kinds or more exist in respective address electrodes 3, and all the differences between the maximum electrode width in cells 6 adjacent to the line direction are 10μm or less in a display region when the maximum value of width of the address electrodes 3 is made to be the maximum electrode width 8 in the cells 6.
