PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harness for preventing the staggering walk and tumbling of a pet having walking difficulty caused by the lowering of muscular power or visual acuity or by wound, enabling easy attaching and detaching and supporting the walk of the pet while giving good attaching comfortableness to the pet. SOLUTION: The harness 1 for pet is provided with a body-supporting cloth 2 covering the body of the pet 5, a detachable belt fixing the body-supporting cloth 2 to the body, and a holding handle 4 extending from the right and left sides of the body-supporting cloth 2 to the part above the body and enabling the support of the body through the body-supporting cloth 2. The body-supporting cloth 2 has forefeet insertion ports 21 to insert the right and left forefeet 51 and extend from the body-supporting cloth 2. The detachable belt 3 is extended from the body-supporting cloth 2 through the right and left sides to the back of the pet 5 and a hook and loop fastener is placed at the tip end.
