PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die and a manufacturing method of film which can improve fluidity, mold-releasing properties and purging properties of a molten resin. SOLUTION: The method is suitably used for manufacturing a film by using a die 1 for extrusion film formation of a molten resin in which the maximum height Ry of the surface roughness of the manifold part 3 in the inside surface of the die 1 is 0.5≤Ry≤10.
