PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stir ink in an ink tank according to a precipitation amount of a pigment even while printing operation is halted without wasting ink so that a high quality print image having no density difference is provided. SOLUTION: An ink tank includes: an ink supply port to supply ink in the tank to the outside; an air discharge port to discharge air in the tank; and an atmosphere introduction port to introduce the atmosphere into the tank.
