PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for producing a fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate ester generating no byproducts such as polymers of the fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate ester, peroxides and the like, requiring no purification process and a small amount of steps in a distillation column and reduced in cost. SOLUTION: In producing the fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate ester by reacting an alkyl halide expressed by X(CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>(CH<SB>2</SB>)Y (wherein n expresses 1-6 integer; X expresses F, Cl, Br, I or H; Y expresses Cl or Br) with a (meth)acrylic acid metal salt in a non-protonic polar solvent in the absence of a catalyst or in distilling the fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate ester, an N-oxyl compound and/or a piperidine compound are used as a polymerization inhibitor under a condition containing no oxygen.
