PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry battery housing box which does not bring trouble of transferring and rearranging dry batteries on a utensil or tray, does not occupy an extra display space, enables effective product display allowing proper sales actions to a consumer looking for purchase in bulk or small quantity, and is effective in reducing waste materials. SOLUTION: The dry battery housing box 20 is made by folding and assembling such a shaped board as a cardboard and corrugated board. Hanging hook holes 41 to 44 are formed on a door-like upper lid 24, which is connected to a back side board of a box via folding line. The upper lid 24 serves also as a hanging tab.
