<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing uncomfortable smell components of collagen peptide by an easy method, and to provide food and drink using collagen peptide obtained by the method. <P>SOLUTION: This method for removing uncomfortable smell components of collagen peptide comprises heating collagen peptide together with a small quantity of ethanol to reduce methanethiol and dimethyldisulfide as uncomfortable smell components.
