<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication terminal in which control of temperature rise and noise of cooling fan can be performed as general control without lowering the function in order to suppress temperature rise when a fan is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: If the voice level of a microphone is in unsilent state (S7), i.e. a user is uttering sound, when the terminal temperature rises above a threshold (S1), a transmission amplifier is turned on so that transmission can be performed (S8) and a fan is stopped in order to prevent transmission of fan noise (S9). Under that state, control accompanied by lowering of function is not performed. If silent state prevails at step S7, i.e. the user is not uttering sound, the transmission amplifier is stopped (S10) and the fan is turned on for cooling (S11). Since telephone conversation of a user is such that unsilent state does not continue even during telephone conversation and the ratio of silent state, e.g. the interval of conversation or the hearing time of partner's speech, is very high, cooling is performed during such an interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
