A slide rail coating method and a slide rail are provided to secure excellent adhesion strength of an inorganic film for the surface of the rail without sanding the surface of the rail and to simplify the process by eliminating priming and sanding processes. The slide rail coating method comprises the steps of: mixing and stirring an inorganic paint composition and the water; preheating inner and outer rails at the predetermined temperature(P120); coating a contact surface between the inner and outer rails with the inorganic paint composition(P130); drying the coated inorganic paint composition for the predetermined time(P140); and plasticizing the dried inner and outer rails at the predetermined temperature for the predetermined time(P170). The third, fourth, and fifth steps are repeated at least once.
