<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector such that a user can visually change settings of a light source section. <P>SOLUTION: Image data regarding a previously stored chromaticity diagram are output to a DMD 11. In timing thereto, image data corresponding to chromaticity diagrams regarding control information of a plurality of light source sections 23 set by a control section 2 which performs illumination control over the light source sections 23 are output to the DMD 11.
