PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which has no variation of a paper interval because of deflection of a carriage shaft. SOLUTION: In fixing the carriage shaft which guides reciprocative movement of a carriage to right and left side plates of a body, the carriage shaft is fixed to the left side plate and is projected from an engagement hole to the right side plate. A load is thus applied to a carriage shaft projecting part of the right side plate outside. The carriage shaft is fixed to cancel the deflection of the carriage shaft due to a weight of the carriage.
