PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut paper by a roller cutter without stopping image exposure processing in an exposure section. SOLUTION: In an image forming device, a buffer loop of a length for allowing at least the conveyance length of paper P to be conveyed with the image exposure processing in an exposure engine 7 is formed between the exposure engine 7 and a conveying roller 26 during a period from a time when the conveyance of the paper P by the conveying roller 26 is stopped to a time when the cutting of the paper P by the roller cutter part 5 is completed.
