PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated stainless steel sheet which hardly sustains a surface flaw even during hot processing at a temperature range of 100 to 200°C. SOLUTION: This resin-coated stainless steel sheet comprises a resin film, made up of resins such as polyvinyl alcohol, urethane and acryl, directly applied to the surface of the steel sheet. In addition, the steel sheet has the ratio of molecular weight of an OH group accounting for not less than 0.020 to the total molecular weight of the resin. For the resin film, 1 to 20 pts.mass polyethylene-fluororesin powder obtained by binding the fluororesin fine powder to the particle surface of the polyethylene resin, may be added to 100 pts.mass film constituent resin.
