PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof wall which is installed along a boundary between two noise generating sources, and can effectively suppress noise from either of the noise generating sources. SOLUTION: This soundproof wall 1 comprises supports 10 which are erected in a juxtaposed manner at a predetermined interval along the boundary between premises of a factory and a road, and a panel 11 for the soundproof wall which is installed between the supports 10 and 10. The panel 11 comprises: a deck plate 20 which is erected between the supports 10 and 10 in such a manner that a recessed streak 23 and a protrusive streak 24 vertically appear in an alternately continuous state; a pair of porous plates 22a and 22b in which many holes 21 are formed at a surface, and each of which covers the whole of both side surfaces of the deck plate 20; and a sound absorbing material 25 which is infilled into each of a space composed of the porous plate 22a and the recessed streak 23 of the deck plate, and a space composed of the porous plate 22b and the recessed streak 23 of the deck plate.
