PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a filter fixing method using fusion or the like which is prevented from effects of flash generated in the periphery due to punching such as pressing of a filter. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection recording head is a liquid ejection recording head which receives supply of a liquid from one or a plurality of ink tanks mounted on a carriage. The filter is set at a liquid introduction port of the liquid ejection recording head. A liquid supply part is constructed in the ink tank, which consists of a press contact body comprised of fibers which contact to the filter. In the liquid ejection recording head, in fusing and fixing the filter, a horn for fusion and fixation contacts to the filter dividedly in two to eliminate the effects by the flash generated when the filter is cut. A center part of the horn contacts earlier to the filter. After the filter is fused while heated, a peripheral part fuses the periphery of a liquid receiving member of the liquid introduction port.
