PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective mat for a skating rink which can reduce burden on a skater when the skater bumps against the mat. SOLUTION: Since a laminated sheet material A made up of a fabric layer 30 and a resin sheet layer 31 is provided with a baglike exterior sheet 10 whose sheet surface portion 2 is formed so as to make the fabric layer 30 the external surface and an impact absorber 12 made of a soft polyurethane foam having an impact resilience factor of 15% or higher and 50% or lower and covered with the exterior sheet 10, the external surface of the exterior sheet 10 exhibits a good slipperiness, and the impact absorber 12 exhibits a good buffer action, and the protective mat can appropriately and unerringly protect a skater who bumps against the mat.
