PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall of a paper sheet from a paper sheet loading device in order to prevent the tip of the paper sheet from being damaged in a paper feeding device provided with the paper sheet loading device removably installed in a device body and capable of being loaded with paper sheets and for feeding the loaded paper sheets to a succeeding process by taking only one sheet of the loaded paper sheets by using an inclined surface. SOLUTION: The tip of the paper sheet loading means has stairs (recessed parts and projecting parts) for preventing the paper sheets from being slipped and fallen in the only part of the paper sheet loading means higher than a maximum loading height.
