PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom gusset type pouch container capable of ensuring excellent self-standing stability. SOLUTION: The pouch container is equipped with a container body 10 formed in a bag-shape by a flexible sheet and a filling spout 20 and a pouring spout 30 mounted to the container body 10. The container body 10 is composed of a pair of front and rear exterior sheets 11 and the gusset sheet 12 which is folded inward from the lower end part of the both exterior sheets 11 to form a bottom gusset part. The peripheral edge of the inner surface of the folded gusset sheet 12 is heat sealed to the peripheral part of the exterior sheets 11, and the peripheral edge parts of the exterior sheets are mutually heat sealed with each other to be formed in the bag-shape. A pressed ruled line 10A is formed at the bottom seal part BSP and above the isometry line which passes a height position the same as the lower edge central part of a bottom seal part BSP when the bottom gusset part is expanded, and the point seal part is disposed above the pressed ruled line 10A.
