PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column shift operation device of an automatic transmission device for a vehicle, which obtains the optimum click feeling by canceling out influence from an operation lever's own weight. SOLUTION: An urging device is formed, which cancels out the own weight W of the shift lever 34 by pressing a pressing roller 86 provided on a leaf spring 84 to a cam surface 88 of a cam 78 provided on a shift shaft 18, and the column shift operation device 6 for obtaining the optimum click feeling is provided since a click mechanism is set without considering the own weight W of the shift lever 34.
