<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing with high productivity a colored resin particulate water dispersion which gives images with high image density and having waterproofing property, weather resistance and scratch resistance, has a small particle diameter and a narrow particle size distribution and is excellent in dispersion stability and storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a colored resin particulate water dispersion, which method comprises making pigment surfaces microcapsules with a polymer and disperses and stabilizes in water and which method comprises the following (1) to (3) steps, is provided. (1) A pigment is treated by atomizing/moisturizing treatment in an organic solvent, a solution obtained by mixing a block polymer dissolved in a solvent is added to the organic solvent, an alkali aqueous solution of an amount corresponding to the acid value of the polymer is added and phase inversion and emulsification are once performed with a less amount of water than the organic solvent amount, (2) water is added to the prepared liquid obtained in (1) so as to exceed the organic solvent amount and the obtained is mechanically treated to be dispersed, and (3) the organic solvent is removed from the prepared liquid obtained in (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
