PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which excellently emits laser beams and to provide a projector unit. SOLUTION: In the light source device of the projector unit, a laser array 311 is equipped with a plurality of laser light source units 311A each having at least one laser light source, and a driving switch 313 is switched in sequence under the control of a control unit to make those laser light source groups cyclically illuminate through sequential pulse driving. Consequently, laswer ligh with high output can be emitted with a small current consumption and temporal use efficiency is improved by continuous projection of the laser light.
