PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring the decomposition amount of gas hydrate close to zero by effectively using cold of LNG. SOLUTION: Upon storing gas hydrate in a storage tank, the storage tank 1 is formed into a double cylinder shape comprising an inner cylinder 2 and an outer cylinder 3, and the gas hydrate (a) is stored in the inner cylinder 2. Liquefied natural gas (b) is stored in the outer cylinder 3. Further, by using the cold of the liquefied natural gas (b) in the outer cylinder 3, the gas hydrate in the inner cylinder 2 is cooled to -80°C to -163°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
