PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing high-speed durability while ensuring a road noise reduction effect by a sound suppression body. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has a sound suppression body 11 consisting of a sponge material adhered to an inner surface of a tread of a tire body 10. The sound suppression body 11 includes a heat radiation recess 20 extending on the equator C in the circumferential direction, and a ridge part 21 arranged on both sides in the tire axial direction. The tire body 10 has circumferential grooves Ga, Gb on an outer surface of the tread part 2 on both sides of the tire equator C while the center line of the groove width extends in the tire circumferential direction through each ridge part 21 of the sound suppression body 11.
