<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture encoding device capable of performing high-efficiency encoding without depending on the performance of the encoder. <P>SOLUTION: The moving picture encoding device for encoding image frames which have any one of a plurality of picture types and are inputted successively at predetermined frame intervals, is provided with a preprocessing means for successively outputting as encoding object frames the picture frames inputted successively, an encoding means for encoding the encoding object frames outputted successively by a predictive encoding method according to the picture type of the encoding object frames, based on an encoding plan according to the encoding object frames, a control means for controlling the encoding means so as to encode a predetermined picture frame, when a frame interval during which no encoding object frames are outputted from the preprocessing means is detected, and a correction means which acquires encoding information from encoded data obtained by being controlled by the control means and encoded, and corrects an encoding plan corresponding to the encoding object frame by this coding information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
