<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic driving device wherein an amount of wear is reduced and the production of particles is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor 10 has an abutting portion 13a, and this abutting portion 13a is so disposed that it can be abutted against the driving force transmitting face 4a of a slide contact plate 4.
