<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize circuit scale and to reduce a cost. <P>SOLUTION: The reproducing apparatus has first clock generating means 102 to 113 generating clocks synchronizing with a reproduced signal using the reproduced signal detected from a disk type recording medium, second clock generating means 119 to 125 generating clocks each having a frequency corresponding to a wobble cycle using a wobble signal including a frequency corresponding to the wobble cycle formed on the disk type recording medium, and address detecting means 126 to 134 detecting address information superimposed on the wobble signal based on the clock generated by the second clock generating means.
