PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device capable of giving static friction force which cannot be given by a steering reaction motor while performing compacting of a steering part without requiring labor for exchange of a friction material, etc. SOLUTION: This steering control device is furnished with a clutch 4 to connect and disconnect an operation part and the steering part to and from each other, the steering reaction motor 2 to give steering reaction force to the operation part, a rotation axis direction conversion means 3 to output input rotation from the steering reaction motor 2 to the clutch 4 by converting a rotation axis direction and a resistance force giving means 11 to give resistance force to axial rotation of an input shaft 13 of the rotation axis conversion means 3.
