PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact control system which controls a roof part divided into two pieces to shift to a targa top state without interference, and eliminates the need for providing a control system only for a targa top. SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicular storage roof is provided with an opening/closing controlling means controlling a front driving mechanism and a rear driving mechanism so as to independently open/close a roof front portion and a roof rear portion divided at the time of opening/closing the roof. A targa top controlling means is also provided, which controls the front driving mechanism and the rear driving mechanism to temporary open the roof front portion and the roof rear portion by the opening/closing controlling means, and then make that to be the targa top state, when an instruction to a targa top state is outputted from an opening/closing instructing means outputting the instruction for opening/closing the roof front portion and the roof rear portion, or making that to be the targa top state.
