The marker has an upper transparent protective sheet (2) that carries an adhesive layer (3) to its lower surface. A carrier layer is provided for a lower component of the thermal indicator marker. The carrier layer contains a thin layer of an indicator substance with defined response parameter or several layers with different response parameter. The thin layer is provided for an irreversible indication of under and/or excess of a target temperature range and a reversible indication of the thin layer to display observation of the target temperature range of the indicator label.
