COLORED COMPOSITION AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve uniformity of films in filter segments and/or a black matrix of a color filter.

SOLUTION: A colored composition comprising: a dye carrier made of a transparent resin, its precursor or a mixture of those; a dye; and an organic solvent is used, wherein when an evaporation rate of n-butyl acetate is considered to be 100, the colored composition comprises an organic solvent A having an evaporation rate of 50 to <150 in an amount of 1-50 wt.% based on the total amount of the above organic solvent. Filter segments and/or a black matrix formed using the colored composition and a color filter are provided.
