<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain wax that reduces slide resistance between a sliding surface and a snow surface as much as possible and produces a gliding surface having excellent slidability in sliding games and sports such as sky, snow boat, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The solid wax is obtained by heating a solid wax base being a polymer compound to a melting point or above, adding boron nitride particles to the obtained melt of the solid wax base and thoroughly stirring the mixture for sufficient blending and dispersion.
